something about max’s personality has recently been brought to my attention. it is a trait that is so familiar, only i understand experiencing it as an adult and have not once considered it from a child’s perspective.
he is sensitive, like his mommy (not to be confused with, psychic). he is sensitive to words and to [...]

i am lonely during the day.
five years of parenting my children full-time has its ups and downs. i talk plenty of the ups in this space, so i’m gonna talk about one specific down that is standing out right now… Loneliness. i’m sure this is something that anyone can imagine to be true of a [...]

“jump! jump! jump!”
“watch me! max!”
they bounce from one bed to the next. learning how to jump and bounce off one another in such a way that one doesn’t go crying to mama.

Yesterday Morning:
Bella (while in their bedroom): Max! Max! Come ‘ere Max!
She calls for Max about three times. Max ignores her, focused on what he is doing. Mama lets her know.
Me (sitting at the kitchen table): Max is working on some art right now, Bella.
Max (at the kid’s table in living room): [...]

Chocolate that is SO GOOD its making me cum. Hal [...]

So, I’ve had a pretty lazy, unproductive day week. The kind of week that I try to have at least, uuuh, every week. I’m pretty successful at it, clocking in at least a solid three lazy days, per week. My life is going to turn upside down once I start working outside the home. And [...]

On Friendship and Calling Out…
Just as soon as I think I am qualified for my PC card, I say something whack’d. It happens to me all the time!
A reminder, courtesy of our Universe, that there is so much more to learn.
If I’m going to someday do something with all this brainpower I possess (heh), its [...]
