tammie ~ thanks. i’m not much of a planner when it comes to food. i can maybe plan for one or two days but beyond that its a struggle. i haven’t heard of that film, i’ll look into it now though.

terra ~ yeah, i’m at a point where i can’t ignore what my body is telling me any more. *sigh* and the afro thing, the idea that a costume that portrays a stereotype of any person of color is somehow funny/cool, because it is being worn by a person who does not self-identify with that ethnic group, especially a white person wearing it, is beyond my understanding.

eccemama ~ thanks for the luck! so far so good, haven’t gone back to facebook! yeah, i def have a tv addiction after the kids go to bed, but i’m keeping that vice. the computer is more my arch nemesis during the day.

I’ve been considering making similar changes to cut the yeast out of my life, but it’s so hard! I’m sure it would take my body telling me in no uncertain terms, as yours seems to be, to make me really get on board.

As for the Afro, two of the very few white parents at my daughter’s (mostly African-American) school showed up to the school Halloween party in Afros. I’m really not sure what was going on there.

My husband is a notoriously quiet lug of a cop who regularly tells me to “fuck off, you stupid son of a bitch!” I’d rather he take the punks (me in my formal life) to jail instead.

your husband is awesome.

this morning when i was trying to sleep my husband was telling me his *idea* for a new celebrity boxing. he wants the first match to be between glenn beck and henry rollins. i think my husband just wants to see someone beat the crap out of glenn beck.
